Meet ProScan AI
The protein scanner built for you

Scan any barcode and get a ProScore out of 100 graded for your body and your goal, not for the average shopper. A short setup sets your daily protein target, and that decides how every product is weighed. No macro tables, no label math.

How it works

Three seconds from shelf to score

1

Scan the barcode

Point the camera at any packaged food. The scan resolves in about a second, no photo taken, no typing.

2

Get your ProScore

One number out of 100, weighed against the protein target the app works out from your body and your goal.

3

Grab the better option

When something scores badly, the app comes back with higher-scoring products from the same shelf.

Built around you

Your number, not a one-size guess.

Most scanners hand every person the same number for the same product. A short setup sets your daily protein target from your bodyweight, height, age, training and goal, then decides how your scores are weighed.

Every scan leads with the figure that matters for you: grams per serving, protein per calorie, leucine, or the amino acid your protein runs short on.

Never a dead end

Scores low? Grab this instead.

Every weak scan comes back with better options from the same aisle, so you leave with an answer instead of a warning.

Curated category listings show the best-scoring products on each shelf, built from millions of products via Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central.

No rigged numbers

If it isn't protein, we say so.

Products that ride the word get a gate, not a grade. A protein water with 2 g in the bottle does not get a score, because only 7% of its calories come from protein.

High protein alone does not reach the top band either. An excellent rating has to be earned by the rest of the label.

What the score actually reads

Grams of protein is where it starts, not where it stops.

The score weighs protein density against what that protein arrives wrapped in.

  • Amino acid profileA protein that cannot build tissue is capped.
  • Sugar, saturated fat and sodiumThe rest of the label counts against the number.
  • Every declared additiveRestricted ones are weighted heavier.
  • Heavy metal, toxin and pesticide screensVerified Clean has to be earned.
  • Ingredient-list lengthUltra-processed markers pull the score down.
  • Organic and clean-label certificationCredited when the label carries it.
  • What the protein is made fromSource matters, not just the gram count.
  • Your allergensFlag them once and anything containing them is called out on sight.

One score for all your protein.
